Description
At IRCCS Centro San Giovanni di Dio Fatebenefratelli BioBank (BioBank FBF) are stored biological material collected from more than 12000 patients affected by the major neurocognitive and psychiatric disorders (e.g. Alzheimer's disease, Frontotemporal dementia, major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder) and control subjects (with no psychiatric/cognitive disorders). Currently the material collected in the Biobank includes samples of DNA, serum, plasma, cerebrospinal fluid, and human primary fibroblasts.
